2010 Texas 4-H and Youth Development Scholarship Application |
The Texas 4-H and Youth Development Program and the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation is once again pleased to offer to our senior high school 4-H members and current college students the opportunity to apply for an Opportunity Scholarship through the Texas 4-H Program.
The application and the instructions are separate documents for easier completion and direction. The application form is being offered in Microsoft Word 97 edition.
What is new for 2010:
● Value of scholarships will range from $500 to $16,000.
● All applicants that are invited and participate in
interviews will be awarded a scholarship from the above mentioned range.
● Applicants will NOT be excused from either the
face-to-face interviews or the scholarship assembly. Applicants and families should plan accordingly based on the dates provided in the guidelines!

2010 Glasscock County Pecan Show Scholarship Application |
The Glasscock County Pecan Show Scholarship will be awarded each year to an applicant based on their extracurricular experiences, finanacial need and academic record. The Glasscock County Pecan Show Scholarship program is conducted in coordination with the Texas Agrilife Extension Service of Glasscock County and sponsored by the Leadership Advisory Board. To be considered, submitted applications must be signed by the applicant, the applicant's parent or legal quardian and the Garden City High School counselor.
One 2010 Glasscock County Pecan Show will be awarded in the amount of $250.00.
Participation in the Glasscock County Pecan Show is not a requirement for consideration for a Glasscock County Pecan Show Scholarship, but 5 additional points will be added to the total score for any applicant who has participated in the Glasscock County Pecan Show at least one year during their high school career.
Requirements:
To apply for a Glasscock County Pecan Show Scholarship, an applicant must:
1. Be scheduled to graduate from Garden City High School on May 28, 2010.
2. Have the intent to, or have made a formal application to enroll at a college or university and have met the entrance requirements for that college or university.

2010 Glasscock 4-H Volunteer Adult Leaders Association Scholarship Application |
The Glasscock 4-H Volunteer Adult Leaders Association Scholarship will be awarded to two applicants based on their extracurricular experiences, academic record and financial need for scholarships. The Glasscock 4-H Volunteer Adult Leaders Association Scholarship program is conducted in coordination with Texas Agrilife Extension Service of Glasscock County. Texas Retired Teachers Foundation Scholarship 2010-2011 |
The Texas Retired Teachers Foundation (TRTF) will award ten $500 scholarships for the year 2010-2011
Guidelines: Students must be enrolled in a university or college in Texas for the 2010-2011 school year, be pursuing an undergraduate or masters degree in education, and be a relative of a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association(TRTA). Applicants must submit a transcript from his or her high school (if applicant is a graduating senior) or from his or her university (if applicant has completed at least one semester of college work).
Deadline for submitting completed applications, including transcripts, is March 18, 2010 by 5:00pm. Note: Scholarship recipients must submit proof of enrollment before receiving scholarship must submit proof of enrollment before receiving scholarship money.

2010 Texas Trial Lawyers Association Scholarship Application |
The Texas Trial Lawyers Association Scholarship Program is dedicated to assisting students who have proven the ability to do college level work, yet may not be able to obtain financial aid through traditional sources. These true-need-based scholarships of $1000 each are awarded to high school seniors statewide.
The scholarship criteria do not include requirements concerning race, sex or field of study.
Deadline:

Landon Scholarship Trust |
The Landon Scholarship Trust is plased to announce it will award a one-time scholarship to Texas A&M students. This is a one-time scholarship for the 2010 Fall Semester. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic achievement and involvement in school and community activities. Financial need is considered, but is not necessarily the dertermining factor in selecting a recipient. Students interested should complete the application.
